Inspired by Tant’ Sannie’s beloved traditional milk tart recipe, this creamy liqueur captures the comforting flavours of a true South African favourite. Think of it as melktert in a glass — smooth, indulgent and lightly spiced. It’s delicious served as a chilled shooter, enjoyed neat over ice, or finished with a light dusting of cinnamon for that authentic milk tart touch.

It also makes a fantastic ingredient in desserts, adding a rich, nostalgic flavour to sweet treats like brownies, cheesecakes and trifles.

Serving Suggestion: Chocolate Brownie & Melktert Cheesecake Trifles

Soften 250 g cream cheese and gently combine with 2 cups whipped cream. Sift in 70 g icing sugar and fold through 4 tablespoons of Tant’ Sannie se Melktert liqueur (add a little extra if you prefer a stronger flavour).
